The nozzle body is manufactured from PA12 Nylon, a high-performance polymer known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. PA12 stands up to impact, heat, abrasion, and harsh environmental conditions. It’s chemically resistant, UV-stable, and won’t swell or deform with moisture exposure. Originally developed for demanding aerospace and motorsport applications, PA12 is well suited to the unpredictable rigors of wildland firefighting.
 
To add strength where it counts, the tip is assembled on a 6061-T6 aluminum collar that is type 3 anodized, ensuring durability at the connection point and giving you the ability to confidently set your preferred stream orientation. The collar is available in both 1” NH and 1” NPSH threads to match a wide range of shutoffs and wildland tools.
